Frederick Quinn Corporation recently awarded Village of Cary Police Station / Village Hall Project

The Village of Cary recently selected Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) as the Construction Manager for the New Cary Police Station / Village Hall project.  This project is located on an undeveloped 2.23-acre parcel at the the southeast corner of Industrial Drive and Georgetown Drive in Cary.

The project consists of a new building of approximately 20,640 SF in size and associated sitework.  FQC will once again be working with FGM Architects on the project which is scheduled to be completed by Fall, 2021.

FQC to Attend Dedication Ceremony for St. Isidore's New Perpetual Adoration Chapel

Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) recently completed the New Adoration Chapel project located at St. Isidore Parish in Bloomingdale.  FQC worked with Domenella Architects on the project which was completed in October 2019.

The project consisted of the construction of a new Adoration Chapel, constructed at the northeast corner of the existing church allowing access thru the church narthex and separately from the exterior parking lot.  There is a new entry narthex with toilet room and a worship area that holds 42 occupants.  Interior finishes are drywall, wood veneer panels, wood trim along with glass entry and clerestory windows.  A separately controlled heating and AC system, lighting and fire protection sprinklers.

FQC will be attending the dedication ceremony which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, November 2nd at 4:15pm.  The dedication will be begin outdoors near the entrance to the adoration chapel and process inside with the Blessed Sacrament, all are invited to attend  this special event.

 

FQC Recently Awarded New Project By Wheaton Park District

Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) was recently selected by Wheaton Park District to be the Construction Manager for their upcoming Memorial Park Revitalization project. 

The project scope consists of removal of the existing band shell, concessions/restroom building, and other structures and elements on site as required to accomplish the new work and construction of a new band shell, support building and various site improvements.

Construction recently began this August and the project is schedule to be completed in May 2020.  FQC is once again working with Williams Architects.

 

FQC Completes Village of Bartlett's New Police Facility & Attends Dedication

Frederick Quinn Corporation recently completed construction of the Village of Bartlett’s New Police Facility.  The building was designed to meet the size, safety, technology, equipment and systems requirements of a modern law enforcement agency for many years to come.

FQC joined residents, Village officials, and staff at the dedication ceremony of the new facility that was held on June 15, 2019.  Village employees also provided guided tours of the new facility and a larger, traditional police department open house will be held in the Spring of 2020.

 

FQC Expands Our Growing Team

Frederick Quinn Corporation recently added some new additions to our field staff, Arthur Lorens has recently joined FQC as our newest Project Manager and Cahit Kurak as an Assistant Project Manager. 

Arthur will be responsible for all construction management functions including: CPM schedule development, maintenance and revision; compilation and negotiation of pay/change order requests; coordination and supervision of company and subcontractor forces; owner/architect/engineer relations; job site safety policy and enforcement; cost control monitoring and analysis; project closeout and settlement.

Cahit holds a B.S. in Industrial & Civil Engineering and will be responsible for assisting our Project Managers in various construction management functions.
