St. Ann Church & School

New Church and Existing Church Renovations

Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) was chosen to provide At-Risk Construction Management Services for the construction of the new St. Ann Catholic Church and renovation of the adjacent parochial school. Creating sufficient room on the church campus site was the first challenge that FQC conquered. Working with the remainder of the project team, as well as municipal officials, FQC obtained the necessary approvals to allow reclassification of the property, allowing demolition of the existing structures to proceed. Situated in a residential setting, FQC met with adjoining neighbors to ensure that the construction plan minimized the impact on neighborhood life. Daily contact with these residents allowed FQC’s on-site team to resolve any problems before they escalated. Some of the highlights of this project include:

  • 26,000 SF church facility featuring load bearing masonry wall construction and glue laminated wood timber roof structure.
  • Seating for 1000 worshippers in the main sanctuary space. Day Chapel capable of supporting 85 attendees at daily mass.
  • Complete renovation of existing school facility. Work was accomplished in phases to allow school to proceed uninterrupted.
  • Hazardous material abatement, new mechanical and electrical systems and architectural upgrades throughout.
When all is said and done, you took as much pride in constructing our church as we take in the building itself. I can wholeheartedly recommend FQC for your professionalism, quality of work and service, and for an attitude that says you believe in making dreams come true - Rev. Michael Gabriel, Pastor
