St. Mary of Gostyn - Activity Center Expansion

Frederick Quinn Corporation (FQC) was selected to provide Construction Manager services to the Diocese of Joliet for the Activity Center Expansion project located at St. Mary of Gostyn in Downers Grove, IL.

This project consisted of the construction and expansion of the Activity Center which included the renovation of 4,020 SF of existing facility and 6,000 SF of a new gym addition. The work included selective demolition of neighboring residence to construct the new facility.

The activity center will be used for cafeteria and various classroom functions. The new gym includes both basketball and volleyball courts and spectator bleachers.

There is all new HVAC, electrical, fire protection, sound systems, and a new entry for after hour use of facility along with site modifications and storm water detention.

FQC worked with DLA Architects on the project which was completed in December, 2019.
